a target post-holiday haul.

or should i say, haul-iday?
(...yeah, that wasn't my best work. sorry.)

well, it's no secret that target has the best holiday items in the world. from decor, to ornaments, to clothing, to wrapping paper, everything is spot on. that being said, perhaps not everyone knows my little secret called never by anything full price. the day after christmas may be a sad day for everyone else, but for me, it's go to target & get everything you could ever want for 50% off. yep, you heard me. they mark everything 50% off. it's kind of like black friday for christmas lovers. & trust me, you have to fight. moms are swarming. but i always manage to pick up some great ornaments, & sometimes also few bits & pieces i can't resist. merry christmas to me!

y'all. these ornaments. i could probably die. i think galvanized metal is gorgeous, so when i saw these super simple but super beautiful ornaments, i had to have them. i almost went & bought each one they had in stock (there were maybe 5-10) but i decided to stick with just the three for the sake of my wallet... but that 50% off though!

ok but how cute is this little moccasin??? kevin was cracking up at me when i saw it, because i couldn't help but let out the most obnoxious squeal & then literally almost cried. we just got married this fall, & on our wedding day, i wore moccasin slippers like these. i guess it just reminded me of that & so i got all kinds of attached to this little shoe. he was all on his own, but now he's mine & i love him.

also you can totally see me taking the photo in the reflection of the jingle bells haha.

these absolutely darling candy cane ornaments came in sets of two, which means each candy cane cost me .75 cents. dealssss y'all. but anyway, how precious are they? i love the pop of color. & they're actually really heavy & really nice quality. candy canes just belong everywhere at christmas!

i'd been eyeing this cute little mailbox all season long. it's just so cute. i wish you could actually use the pull down part & put little main in there, but it's still absolutely precious without that feature. i'm so happy there was one left & i was able to snatch it!

again with the galvanized metal, i love. it looks so rustic & so fun! & if you know me well, you know i have an intense love affair with jingle bells. they're like my favorite thing ever. i'm probably gonna end up wearing some of these as jewelry or something... don't judge me.

now as you might be able to tell at this point, i get weirdly attached to inanimate objects really fast? so when i saw this little guy i freaked out & then couldn't put him down. whoops. i don't even know what he is... a gopher maybe? anyway, he needs a name, so help me name him!

these cute little guys were 50 cents each, & that was a deal i just couldn't pass up. they match my other ornaments perfectly & they're so tiny & cute! also hello again from my reflection in the jingle bells, top knot & all.

again with the galvanized metal gorgeousness, plus they came in a set! which means each ornament only cost me 5 freaking cents. can you tell i like deals? i mean i know i'm poor, but 5 cent ornaments? i can swing that.

that's all i got ornament wise this year. i'm super stoked about how beautiful our tree is gonna look next year! like i said in my previous post, i really love christmas ornaments more than anything. i think they're the best to give & to get & to collect... they carry history & love & memories... & they're just so cute!

on to the last few bits & pieces from target...

yep, i got some embarrassingly cute santa socks. the height of them makes santa peek out over my boots, & it kind of cracks me up a ton. is it ok if i wear them a little longer? i really don't want christmas time to be over yet...

like i do every year, i also picked up some wrapping paper! this rose gold number is just soooo dreamy. i usually go for more of a classic or cute look, so i'm really excited to add a new type of option to my ever-growing wrapping paper collection. & then this santa wrapping paper kills me. it has illustrations of the several different forms of santa claus on it. i just find it to be all kinds of precious, & i can't wait til i can use it!

i shouldn't have, indeed. but all of the bags were under a dollar, so how could i not! while wrapping paper is my true love, i also absolutely appreciate a good gift bag. i mean look how cute these ones are! i'm so excited to use them. but then again, i also kind of want to keep them all & not let anyone have them? bit of a weird situation there...

& last, but not least, i bought some faux mistletoe. i just thought it was too precious to pass by. & i've personally never been kissed under the mistletoe! so i took matters into my own hands...

hey hubs, come smooch me! ;)

i truly hope y'all enjoyed my little haul of holiday bits!
& thank you for reading, i appreciate you greatly.
all my love,
meredith massey.
